5 Minute Friday: Brave

On Fridays we write for 5 minutes straight. No thinking, no hesitation, just write….
Sometimes I am just at a loss for words. I hesitantly open the email from gypsymama scared at what word I might see. I sit at my computer for at least 5 minutes thinking about how no one really cares about what I right. After reading the original post on BRAVE, I think to myself, I am not near as good at writing these things as the other blogger’s who join in. Well, then it hit me. You have to be Brave Brandy. You have to step outside your normal boundaries and just write what comes to mind. Who really cares what others think about you Brandy. God is the only person that matters, and he loves your writing. He created you!! Isn’t that so true? I may not be perfect but God thinks I am worth dying for! I am striving to live up to what God desires me to be. My husband and I have a story. We feel that GOD wants us to share that story with others, in hopes that we influence them to be Brave in their marriages, to put God first and not themselves. When I am Brave enough to join in the 5 minute Fridays, then I am being Brave to invite hundreds of people I do not even know over to peruse my website and hopefully read our Love Story…Today, I will be Brave. Brave enough to press Publish and Brave enough to admit that I am not BRAVE all the time! May your day be full of blessing and may you be Brave today!

I’ve felt the same way. Probably why this FMF is my first.
Read your post on Date Nights and really enjoyed it. We were there when our kids were young. The important thing really is communication. And having date night at home forced you to get creative.
But I save #8 for my own self. 
Thank you for stopping by! It really has helped us save money. We have had many challeges since remarrying (Our Love Story at the top talks all about it). But, these challenges have all been steps leading up to where God wants us to be. Enjoy your weekend and blessings to you and your family!

oh, I feel that same way every time I see the word prompt. “what do I have to add to the great voices on this topic?” you are right. Brave is putting our words out there. Sharing.
